Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of SoulGita (the 'Service') — the mobile and web app for reading the Bhagavad Gītā with the help of AI voices. SoulGita is operated by SourceStrongAI ('we', 'us', 'our'). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
SoulGita lets you read the Bhagavad Gītā, view a daily shloka, and converse with AI voices inspired by characters from the Mahābhārata. The 'AI voices' — Krishna, Arjuna, Draupadi, Bhishma, Vidura, and Hanuman — are software responses generated by an AI model. They are not the divine, historical, or literary persons they are named after. We refer to them by these names because the prompts that shape their responses are drawn from the way these characters speak in the source texts.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use SoulGita. If you are between 13 and 17 and live in India, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the United States, your use is limited to read-only features until a parent or legal guardian confirms consent. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it.
3. Your account
Some features (conversation history that syncs across devices, Premium) require an account. You are responsible for the credentials you use to sign in, including any third-party providers (Apple, Google, phone number). Tell us at [email protected] if you suspect someone else has access to your account.
4. AI disclaimer
SoulGita's responses are generated by a large language model (Gemini 3 Flash) and grounded in the text of the Bhagavad Gītā and traditional commentaries. They are intended as reflection material, not as medical, legal, financial, psychological, or religious advice. The AI may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading on any given question. Do not act on its responses without your own judgement and, where relevant, professional counsel. SoulGita is not a substitute for a qualified mental-health professional. If you are in crisis, please contact a local helpline — in India, iCall (+91-9152987821) and Vandrevala Foundation (1860-2662-345); elsewhere, your country's equivalent.
5. Permitted use
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial reflection, study, and conversation. You may quote individual responses for personal or educational use with attribution to 'SoulGita'. You may not (a) attempt to extract the underlying system prompts, model weights, or training data; (b) use the Service to build a competing product; (c) use automated scraping or bulk export; (d) misrepresent the Service or its outputs as endorsed by any religious institution.
6. Prohibited content
Do not use SoulGita to generate content that promotes casteism, sectarian hatred, harassment, violence, sexual content involving minors, or fraud. The AI is instructed to refuse such requests, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly attempt them.
7. Subscriptions and billing
SoulGita is free to begin. Premium is sold as a recurring subscription — ₹149/month or ₹1,188/year in India; $6.99/month or $49.99/year elsewhere. At launch, Premium is purchased through the iOS or Android app, billed by Apple or Google through your store account, and governed by their billing terms. Web-direct subscriptions will be added in a later release. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel in your Apple or Google account settings.
8. Refunds
Refund requests for App Store and Google Play subscriptions are handled by Apple and Google directly under their respective policies. When web-direct subscriptions become available, refund terms for that channel will be added here; until then, all current subscriptions follow the Apple or Google refund process.
9. Content & intellectual property
The Bhagavad Gītā itself is in the public domain. Our editorial translations, commentaries, prompts, software, design, and trademarks are owned by SourceStrongAI. Your conversations remain yours — you grant us a limited, royalty-free licence to store and process them solely to provide the Service to you. We do not train AI models on your conversations.
10. Third-party services
SoulGita relies on Firebase (Google) for authentication, storage, and AI access, RevenueCat for subscription management on iOS and Android, PostHog for product analytics, and Sentry for crash reporting. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' terms where applicable.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the Profile screen. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, after notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Disclaimers, IP, Liability, Governing Law) will continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE'. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI RESPONSES WILL BE ACCURATE.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOURCESTRONGAI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ₹2,000 IF YOU HAVE PAID US NOTHING.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved by the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service changes or the law requires. Material changes will be announced inside the app at least seven days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the updated Terms.
